My HP Envy 17 3002ea Notebook is quite a number of years old but functioning very well. Unfortunately, the battery life is declining and it is time to consider a replacement. Before I made a purchase of a replacement, I looked to see if I could remove the existing battery which appears very challenging. There doesn't appear to be any screws holding it (or the battery compartment) down but I am unable to remove it!
I am unable to find any online videos or information regarding battery replacement for my model.
Is anyone able to help?
Many thanks

You can also look at these HP videos for that model (click on battery in list on left)
