I have an HP Victus 16 Out of Warrent and I'm trying to upgrade my RAM From 8 to 64GB.

I've searched on a website and it says that my laptop is able to be upgrade to 64 GB.
I've bought the RAM Sticks for it with the recommended Specs that the Laptop can handle and when trying too install the RAM into the Laptop.
The Laptop does not boot to the BIOS and gives me a RAM Error Code. when looking out light and or beeps.

This Issue occures when replacing the Orignal 8GB Primary RAM Slot of the Laptop to the 32 GB RAM.
When adding a RAM Stick to the Second RAM Slot, the RAM is recognised and the Total RAM increaes to 40GB.

I've swapped the RAM Sticks to make sure they are working using the Second RAM Slot.
And I can confirm that both RAM's Sticks are working Good.

I've also made sure to go on HP's Website to download the Latest version of Driveres and BIOS, and the issue still pressist.

I believe that the Computer is Hardware locked making me unable to Upgrade the Primary RAM Slot From 8 GB to 32GB.
I've also tried other RAM Sticks of various sizes with no success.

Is there a way or something i can do to remove this Hardware Lock so that i can Upgrade my machine to 64GB?

Memory comes in different ranks. 1Rx8, 2Rx8, 1Rx16 and others.
Single rank memory uses higher density chips than dual rank of the same size. Some older system cannot recognize higher density chips properly. Typically an 8gb high density stick in slot "A" shows up as two 4gb sticks and the BIOS ignores any memory in in slot "B" as it thinks it has 4gb in it.

You need to buy a kit of ram to ensure that the memory will work together.

Can you provide a link to the memory you bought?

Alternately, put one of the 32gb in a slot and run the wmic app

An easy way to find what memory you have is to run the wmic app from the windows command prompt. Bring up the window CMD prompt and enter the first line to see what memory you have. The second line may give the maximum memory possible based on the chipset. The number of memory sockets limit what can be added.

wmic memorychip get devicelocator, capacity, speed, MemoryType, formfactor, partnumber, manufacturer

 wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx, MemoryDevices

Should look something like the following. .
