My laptop is now out of warranty and I want to undervolt it. I am already using the minimum possible frequency from windows 10 power settings but still want to undervolt it to run longer as I use it just to read books.

My question is how can its CPU (AMD A6) or GPU (Radeon R4) be undervolted?

This would required you going into Advanced Settings in the BIOS -- but HP has those locked out by policy.  So basically, there is no way for you to do this.

@WAWood

If we try to go beyond policy and try to activate these advanced settings, how can we? Which bios/software do we need to flash?

I know there are some shortcuts to get into advanced settings. Just correct shortcut is the key and you can get me through, I know you are an expert.

Please let me know what is the shortcut. I have Insyde H20 and AMD A6 (HP 245 G5).

I am ready to do it at any cost as it will save me a lot.
