Pavilion 15t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently one of my fans went bad and it was very noisy. I beleive the bearings wore down, so I bought a new fan and installed it. However, after installing it and running my laptop I observed that the fan speeds are not equal. There are two fans in the laptop: fan1 = original fan (good working condition, fan2 = new fan (old fan2 was removed/replaced). I checked the speeds of the fan using speedfan 4.52 and find that fan1 is running at 2500-4500 rpm. Whereas, fan2 is running at a maximum of 250rpm. The unequal fan speeds is very strange. The fan was bought 1 month ago. My concern is whether there is something I can do on my end through software to adjust this or check if the fan is actually faulty.

I tried updating the bios to no avail. Checking the bios (Insyde H2O) I notice that I don't have any options to change the fan speeds or check on the fan condition.
