Hello, I would like some clarification on the status of my device repair. On the support site, my case is listed as "unit on hold due to component shortage."
I would like to understand what this means exactly: are the missing components produced as needed, or if a critical part such as the motherboard with a dedicated GPU is no longer available, does that mean the repair will not be possible?
Additionally, I noticed that HP no longer has OMEN laptops 17 with RTX 4080 in stock. Does this mean that my device will no longer be repaired? What are the possible alternatives in this case?
Thank you for your support. I look forward to your response.
