HP 350 G2 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have a  HP 350 G2 Notebook with Windows 10. For "some time" there are some devices in the device manager with missing drivers. I do not know where to find the drivers and how to install them.

1. PCI-Device with the following hardware-ID:

PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5227&SUBSYS_803A103C&REV_01
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5227&SUBSYS_803A103C
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5227&CC_FF0000
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5227&CC_FF00

2. PCI Communication Controller w. hardware ID:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CBA&SUBSYS_803A103C&REV_03
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CBA&SUBSYS_803A103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CBA&CC_078000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CBA&CC_0780

3. SM Bus Controller w hardware ID:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CA2&SUBSYS_803A103C&REV_03
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CA2&SUBSYS_803A103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CA2&CC_0C0500
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CA2&CC_0C05

4. Unknown device w. hardware ID:

USB\VID_138A&PID_0050&REV_0060
USB\VID_138A&PID_0050

Do these devices have possibly anything to do with one of the USB-ports and the cardreader?

Normally I do not use the cardreader, but last time i tried it did not work. And one of the USB-ports (the one on the right side) does not work at all for some time. A year ago when I had my notebook cleaned I asked about the issue with the USB-port and the employee told me that it is broken and needs to be replaced. As I have another two USB-ports I did not care much about the missing USB-Port.

Hi:

You need these drivers...

SM Bus Controller:  Install this driver first and restart the PC.

Intel Chipset Installation Utility

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp87001-87500/sp87257.exe

PCI Communication Controller:

Intel Management Engine Components Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp79001-79500/sp79059.exe

PCI-Device:  This is the SD card reader in need of a driver:

Realtek USB and PCIe Media Card Reader Drivers

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95501-96000/sp95557.exe

Unknown device :

Synaptics (Validity) Fingerprint Sensor Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63001-63500/sp63418.exe

If the Intel chipset driver doesn't get the USB port to work, then it has suffered a hardware failure.

Thank you, this was really helpful. I have installed all drivers, but my USB-port still does not work, so there must be a hardware failure (as you wrote).
