Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

With some excellent help from a couple of experts here I found what's probably all the info that's available for this old (circa 2007) laptop.  It is really a pretty nice machine and I would like to get it working and then find a home for it -- keep it out of recycle or the landfill.

It had Vista on it.  I did a clean install of Win 10 and it appears that everything worked and is working.  However, there are 3 mystery entries in Device Manager under Other Devices.  All three entries say Base System Device and all three are there for missing drivers.  I have the hardware IDs but don't know how to get beyond that.  Can anyone tell me what these three IDs are referring to?

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_30BB103C&REV_01
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_30BB103C
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&CC_0880

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0592&SUBSYS_30BB103C&REV_0A
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0592&SUBSYS_30BB103C
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0592&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0592&CC_0880

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0852&SUBSYS_30BB103C&REV_05
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0852&SUBSYS_30BB103C
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0852&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0852&CC_0880

In fact, if there's a way for me to find out then I can do it and not waste others' time.

Thanks in advance,

Howard

Hi, Howard:

You need this one driver for those devices...SD card reader...

This package contains the Ricoh Media Card Reader Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Ricoh Media Card Reader driver provides support for the following media: Memory Stick, xD-Picture Card, MMC, SD, and SmartCard.

Wow.  I don't know how you knew that but you were absolutely right.  Wa la, no more unknown devices.

Thanks!

You're very welcome, Howard.

You google the ID, and then you have to know where you can find the driver.

Since HP retired driver support for the dv6000 model series as it is over 10 years old and there were only Vista drivers for that model series, I gave you the W7 driver from the HP 6910p business class notebook which uses the same model card reader.  Windows 7 was the last OS that drivers were provided for that model SD card reader.
