Hi @NASEEF1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here are the general steps to access the BIOS and potentially unlock advanced options.
- Restart your Laptop: Save any open files and restart your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15.
- Access BIOS: During the boot process, you'll need to press a specific key repeatedly to access the BIOS. The key to access the BIOS may vary, but common keys include F2, F10, F12, ESC, or DEL. Check your laptop's manual or the startup screen for the correct key to access the BIOS.
- BIOS Setup: Once you press the appropriate key, you should enter the BIOS setup utility. The BIOS interface may vary depending on the manufacturer and version.
- Look for Advanced Options: In the BIOS setup, navigate through the menus and look for a section related to "Advanced," "Advanced Settings," or similar. This section may be hidden or locked in some cases, depending on the laptop model and BIOS version.
- Unlocking Advanced Options: Some BIOS versions may allow you to unlock advanced options by entering a specific password or key combination. If there's an option to enter an "Advanced" or "Administrator" password, try searching online for default passwords or methods to unlock hidden settings. However, please note that not all BIOS versions have this option, and attempting to unlock hidden settings can be risky.
- Updating BIOS: If you're unable to find a way to unlock the advanced options or the options you need are not available, check the HP website for BIOS updates for your specific laptop model. Sometimes, BIOS updates can introduce new features and settings. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully when updating the BIOS as a failed update can cause issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
