My laptop dies as soon as I unplug the charger. Initially I thought it was a battery issue, I have replaced the battery twice but the same issue still exists. My battery is full charge, even if I unplug the charger (after it dies) I can easily turn on the laptop with only the battery and it shows full charge plus I get 4-5 hrs of backup.
The issue is when I unplug the charger or when the power goes. I am not sure if there is any issue with sudden voltage change.
When I bought the laptop years ago, within 3-4 months my power adapter conked off. I bought a new original power adapter (I did not had the invoice for the replacement as I was away from my native city). The laptop never gave me any issues earlier but this has started since the last 3 months.
I also installed a new windows but it has been over 6 months, I am not sure if it is a software issue. Your help is needed.
I also tried the Hardware test by pressing F2 but I do not get the hardware option in C125

Hi, it did worked for an hour or so, but when I unplugged after an hour, the laptop again shutdown as soon as I removed the charger.
Please suggest what might be the issue. Do you feel I should buy a new adapter or there might be some other issue.
Thanks
