Hi. I have this HP ENVY 14-3010NR Spectre 14-Inch Ultrabook that was purchased in June 2013. The notebook is working fine and i am very satisfied with it as to not replace it. However about 3 months back, i got some liquid accidentally spilled over it and am unable to get it replaced/repaired from local mechanic (who says without opening the laptop that this keypad cant be repaired). So my question, if the replacement keypad can be obtained from anywhere or if it can be repaired, if so, how?
P.S.: Dont ask me to replace/discard the notebook - that will be last step.

The computer must be opened up to replace the keyboard / top cover section.
HP ENVY14 SPECTRE Maintenance and Service Guide
Part number 671536-001
Procedure - Pages 39-42
Unfortunately, you have to pretty much disassemble the inside to complete the replacement.
The good news is that, should you find a computer technician that knows how to disassemble and reassemble the notebook, the part does appear to be available from at least a few merchants.
Due to the more extensive labor involved, do expect to pay a bit more than would be the case if the keyboard / cover were more easily accessible.
It is rather adorable - I hope you can get if fixed.
Final Note:
Assuming you keep the computer, know that is is nearing its support life - that means that (not today or even this year) at some point (about ten years from first sale of the series), all support documents can (and likely will) be removed and the system will be shoved into "retired" status. Consider downloading and saving every document, any drivers, every scrap of information that you want to keep.

Hi Dragon Fur
Thanks a lot for the valuable resolution. I actually have local technician who can open the laptop and get the keypad out for replacement. But the problem is that i cant find a replacement part anywhere, neither in local market nor anywhere online internationally.
Can you kindly help me find a vendor who can supply me with the part? Or else can this keypad be repaired, if so, how.
Thanks a lot.

Ok, well, Google is our friend.
Found the following using the part number to search:
HP 671536-001 Spectre Laptop Keyboard Keys Replacement
Expensive but seems to match the part number you are seeking:
HP Envy 14 14-3010NR Touchpad Palmrest Keyboard 671536-001
The website posts a contact number.
Note the mention of compatible systems, too.
The company in the USA (East Coast).
Your tech might have a favorite merchant - and might have contacts to help you find the part(s).
For example, if you have going to have the entire notebook apart, it might be good to consider replacing anything else that could benefit from "new and shiny".

Thanks a lot. I actually was always searching Google for keypad for HP envy 14 spectre 3010Nr and didn't get any results. But now using part no, i am getting the part across sites.
The first site that you mentioned provided individual keys. But really wonder if they can be of use as the keypad of particular model is fully integrated and there are no separate keys.
I have zeroed in on a UK site shop-keyboards.co.uk thats delivering across the globe. But cant find if the site is genuine or fraud.
Thanks a lot for info that you have already provided.
