I am looking to increase memory from default 16GB to 32GB.
Default installed memory is Kingston 2x8GB Cl19 2666MHz. Omen DC1018ca.
I am looking at
Kingston HyperX Impact Series 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 2666MHz CL15 SODIMMs (HX426S15IB2K2/32)
Can I use this memory? It is CL15. Will this cause a problem? Will it install as CL15 or CL19?
Thanks

As a follow-up on my last post, I have an Omen HP 15-DC1018CA laptop with 18GB (2x8GB) of DDR4-2666 memory.
I want to upgrade to 32GB (2x16GB) using the Crucial CT2K16G4SFD8266 memory kit, which has 19 19 19 43 timing.
The CAS timing on my laptop is 19 19 19 43, according to CPU-Z, and that it uses JEDEC timings
with no XMP memory mode. My question is does anyone know if this memory will be able to
use the JEDEC timings for DDR-2666, or will it go down to something lower (for example DDR-2133)?
I contacted the Crucial people, but got an answer which seems somewhat vague.
Thanks
RM

@Dr-1_2 , welcome to the forum.
I believe that the Kingston HyperX is not compatible with your motherboard. I suggest that you contact Kingston's Tech Support to see what they have to say. They are the experts on their products.
