My laptop is unable to download HP - HIDClass and I do not know why! It is the only update it has not been able to download. I've restarted my computer a couple of times but it still says it will try again later and my update has failed. Does anyone have a solution to this? ;(

Hi @OhNoItsBella

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Sorry for the late reply. This is a known issue at the moment with no 100% official solution or workaround. An update has been pushed via Windows Update and it fails to install.

The update is not that critical and you may want to temporary hide it until the problem is resolved on the "back end" (kind of).

* Try downloading this Microsoft uitlity to hide the update >> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026726/windows-hide-windows-updates-or-driver-updates

* More info >> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3073930/how-to-temporarily-prevent-a-driver-update-from-rei...
