I have purchased the following device and have a question.
Notebook HP EliteBook 840 G6 (F) i5-
8365U CPU @ 1.60GHz 8/256 WIn 11 Pro
The device was installed with version Windows 11 22H2 (Build 22621.4317).
Unfortunately, it is not possible to update the device to Windows 11 24H2 via Windows Updates.
A check whether the CPU is supported is positive, see link there the CPU is listed as supported.

i also did a firmware update to the latest: R70Ver. 01.31.00
I ask you for support, which could be the reason why an update cannot be performed ?

Your PC should meet all of Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements.
Try updating to W11 24H2 by clicking on the blue W11 Update Assistant button at the link below (1st option) to begin an in-place update to W11 24H2:
