In the system log of the router, the estimated mac address of this laptop was calculated, starting with 40:2C:F4 A search for a unique identifier gives information about the manufacturer Universal Global Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. Is this company an HP partner? Maybe it was in 2010-2012?

A company such as Universal Global Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd. may have provided devices to the motherboard manufacturer. I did find in other places that a user had determined that a HP laptop had one of those devices installed in their device, also.
