If any of the above isn't compatible can you tell me other options which I have?

HP does not recommend using any different hardware which is not bundled with HP as they are not tested by HP and may not be accurate. However, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.

SSD is not installed on my laptop, so I need to install it now. So again, will I be able to install nvm pclve hard disk. Does this laptop have the slot?

Can I install 2, 8 gb ram of same specs with the ssd?

My laptop has becomes very laggy when I want to do some multitasking. Like, I sometimes need to open like 10 tabs in chrome with my visual studio code, anaconda navigator, and file explorer. So I really need to upgrade my specs, as I can see in task manager, my memory and disk always get to 100%. So I think the issue is just with my RAM and my laptop not having an SSD. My budget for an upgrade is 15-20K. 
So, please tell what will be best for me. How can I increase my RAM memory and free up disk space altogether?

As I mentioned earlier your computer support max 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB)

Configure Storage Sense to free up space automatically (Windows 10)

1. Search for and open Storage settings.
2. Turn on Storage Sense, and then select Configure Storage Sense or run it.
3. On the Configure Storage Sense or run it now window, choose when you want Windows to run Storage Sense and clean up files on your computer.

M.2 Nvme wont work?

Thank you for posting back. 

I would suggest you can check with the local service center in order to make sure M.2 Nvme drive is compatible or not.
