Hi,  I'm getting conflicting info.  Is the model have the ability to upgrade the Ram from 8 GB to 16 GB?

You're very welcome.

 

That notice means that HP wants any upgrades to be done by an authorized service center.

 

Chapter 5, page 50 shows the procedure to remove and replace the memory.

 

I would assume the memory can be removed and replaced, but before buying memory, you may want to open up the notebook first and confirm that to be the case.

Thanks for the reply, Paul. but the manual says on Page 10, Table 1-1,"Two SODIMM memory module slots, non-customer-accessible/non-upgradable"
