Hi All,
Please can you advise if the beneath laptop can be upgraded to 16GB of RAM?
If so, what will the cost implications be?

Hi:
Since that model notebook has an Intel core processor, it has two memory slots and can support 2 x 8 GB of memory.
HP only has the maintenance and service guide for the older 15-dw0xxx model series on your notebook's support page but the manual should be of help to you for taking the notebook apart to upgrade the memory.
HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 Manuals | HP® Customer Support
Your notebook uses DDR4-2666 MHz memory, but DDR4-3200 memory will also work and will automatically bridge to 2666 MHz.

You're very welcome.
After you get the notebook, run this command and it will indicate if your notebook supports 2 x 16 GB of memory:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
