My query is i want to upgrade my RAM and storage hard drive to SSD. about my RAM it's 4GB DDR3 1600MHz and storage is 500GB. Please recommend me best brand's RAM and SSD Storage which will be compatible for this laptop as i mentioned. 

 

 

 

I found that on Amazon and sharing link with you for both RAM and SSD, please tell me can i go with that for my laptop or if you have any another better suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Yes, if you want to install an 8 GB memory chip instead of the 4 GB one, the 8 GB memory chip link you posted is the correct one.

 

The # of pins...204 is for DDR3 notebook memory (which the above part number is).

 

240 pin is for DDR3 desktop memory. That won't fit in your notebook.

Hi:

 

Yes, the upgrades you want to perform will be fine.

 

If you want to pay extra, the Crucial MX500 is a better choice because it has faster read/write speeds than the BX500 has.

Thank you so much for your response and the suggestion. as i asked you for RAM storage upgradation. I'm clear with the SSD however i have little bit confusing with the compatibility of RAM.  i have found another Crucial ddr3 8gb RAM, Would you mind to check this once please . here I'm sharing the link.

You know my question is it compatible with my laptop as in this product details specifications it is written that the  pin number 8 so I'm confused with that whether it is 204 pin or 240 pin because i don't know my laptop ram slot will support which one.
