Hello folks,
I have hp 15q-bu0xx (15q-bu013TU) model.

If Crucial Memory guarantees memory module compatibility it will work as advertised.
There isn't enough difference between 2400 and 2666 MHz for you to even notice. Modules will downclock to the required speed of the system board chipset, which in your case is 2400 MHz.
You should have started a new thread. It adds to your reputation.
If the notebook shuts down when the power adapter is removed the battery has reached the end of its service life. Does the charge/power LED light in an amber or red color when power adapter is plugged in?

Yes. That module is compatible with your notebook.
Check this hyperlink at Crucial memory for a large list of memory modules that are guaranteed compatible with your notebook.

From a power off state or from the HP Support Assistant, with the power adapter connected, run the battery test.
Click on the advanced button and compare the design capacity in watt hours and the full charge capacity. If you see a great difference between the two, the issue is the battery. The battery will need to be replaced with a new one.
There is a great difference between white and amber. Amber means in the process of charging and white means fully charged.
