HP Notebook - 15-db0004dx
AMD Ryzen™ 3 2200U (2.5 GHz base frequency, up to 3.4 GHz burst frequency, 1 MB cache, 2 cores)
AMD Radeon™ Vega 3 Graphics
16 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (2 x 8 GB)
PNY CS 900 1TB 2.5" Internal SSD
Windows 10 2004
Want to replace current internal 802.11b/g/n (1x1) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 com with internal Dual Band WI-FI -AC or AX Bluetooth 5.0 card.
Current card (L21480-005) appears to only work on the 2.4 GHz band.
Concerned about purchasing correct replacement card to avoid having whitelist problems with HP

@37Dodge Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you would like to upgrade the wifi card.
(HP does not recommend upgrades as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed in HP articles are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion)
I have checked the manual ( page number 2)
Your model Support for the RTL8822BE ac 2×2 MU-MIMO+Bluetooth® 4.2 M.2 PCIe WW with 2 antennas
I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the option. They will help you.
