Love this little travel laptop, but I do find it to be very slow and underpowered especially since upgrading to Windows 10.

I have already boosted RAM to 8GB ( Max) and added a SSD.

Can I upgrade the CPU and what are my options please?  THANKS!

What is your DM1 machine ? I must be DM1-something. Your machine could be on the following manual

              http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03597035.pdf

It only has AMD E1-1200 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics and with its ages not much you can do for your machine.  Upgrading it is very close to buying a new machine. There are many small and light machines on market today, it is much better to buy new machine than to upgrade it.

Regards.
