Hi, is it possible to upgrade the processor of my pc?

Currently I have an i5-2450m, but I think that over time it has lost its efficiency

Thanks.

Hi,

If you look on page 73 of service manual you can see the compatible CPUs. The best one being the i7-3612QM

You can also see the steps to replace the CPU. Remember to clean off all old thermal material from Heatsink and apply quality thermal paste such as Arctic MX4 or similar.

Probably the most noticable upgrade you could perform, if you have not already done so, is to replace the mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD such as the Samsung 860evo

Hope it helps,

David
