I had to update this. In reading through the Maintenence & service guide, it appears that for Intel core processor types such as yours has the BIOS and chipset support for M.2 SSD does exist. See chapter 1 page 2. Be aware that this is a tech manual and not written for someone unfamiliar with the applicable technical language that is used.

Unfortunately, the answer is no for that particular HP SSD. There is no support for NVMe type SSD products.
There still may be M.2 SSD support. You will have to visually verify that there is an available M.2 slot for
The M.2 slot on the system board is used for the wifi module.
The SSD type that will work is of the 2.5" mobile format with (TLC) and SATA3 interface. See example at the link below.
