HP Omen 17 w033dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

I'd like to add a SSD in my HP Omen 17 w033dx. I know there are a few ways to do it, but which type of SSD my laptop supports and which type of SSD I should buy to have HDD+SSD in my laptop?

Secondly, I have 12 GB of RAM installed (4+8). Does my Omen support maximum 16 or 32 GB? I saw different info about that. Have someone tried 32? What is the best way to upgrade it?

I'd be very grateful for help. Best wishes.

Here are two snips from the maintenance and service guide for your PC. You can find the full manual at support.hp.com

First SSD drives supported

Specs list as 16Gb max. NOT USER UPGRADEABLE, which means some disassembly is require to replace.
