Not surprisingly, I have run out of space on my 256GB laptop SSD C: drive. Can I upgrade to a 2TB Gen4 NVMe M.2?

Hi,
This laptop supports the older SATA III M.2 2280 SSD. NVME M.2 won't even fit in that slot. I believe that a 1TB drive shouldn't be an issue although the service guide lists only 256GB max but those are only tested drives. I have upgraded to more capacity drives even on a 3rd or 4th gen before. This laptop is a 6th gen so there shouldn't be a restriction(whitelist) allowing only a certain capacity drive to be installed on the system. There are even 4TB drives available for SATA III M.2 2280 so give it a go and get a 2TB one.:)

Wow! That was quick and thank you. I had a suspicion there was a form factor issue. But since i could not find a service guide for my laptop, I had to ask for help. Thank you again.
Do you know where I can find a service guide?
