Hi, i use this Hp omen 207 1JN28EA#UUW and i would like to upgrade it with SSD M2 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07CGGNX7S?ref_=pe_780071_41837251_dpLink

 

I tried to find details about motherboard if this is compatible or not.

Someone can advice me wich model of ssd i should use for my Hp Omen laptop?

Here is a list of Hard drive which has been tested and known to work with the HP OMEN - 17-w207no

 

 

You can refer to page 42 in the Service Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05356862

 

 

The Samsung 970 evo m.2 should work but since it has not been test specifically with this Model, HP cannot guarantee the performance of the Samsung 970 evo m.2 on this Notebook

thanks for your  reply.

one of the reason that i post here is the manual doesnt include procedures for w207 models. Its not updated, my hp omen w207 doesnt look like pictures from manual.

I unscrew all screws from enclosure but its still fixed and im afraid to force it.  iwill update with photos soon.

Finally i open the enclouser (with youtube help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlJyh2zHWFk ).

Im happy that i can order the next ssd m2 without any worries.
