Can I upgrade my Intel(R) Core (TM) i3-6100U CPU @ 2.30GHz. If so which would be best, preferably to a dual or quad core or even 3.0 single core? Serial # : [Personal Information Removed]

Hi,

You will not be able to upgrade the CPU as it comes soldered to motherboard. You would need to replace the motherboard which would cost about the same as buying new computer. The CPU you have right now is a 2.3Ghz dual core processor.

The upgrade you could perform is RAM and installing an SSD which will give some gain in performance.

Hope it helps,

David
