Hi All,
I am wanting to upgrade the Hard Drive in my OMEN 16 Laptop. I can't seem to find anything in the Spec Sheet about what the max size that can fit in the laptop so I figure I ask.
I know depending on the motherboard/etc. that the size could be limited.
I don't want to buy a 16Tb Hard Drive for the laptop/motherboard to have a limitation of 8Tb Hard Drive.
I also want to see about upgrading the RAM but again, I can't find any documentation to advise what the max is. I currently have 2x 8GB (16 GB total), and if the max is 64Gb (for example), I don't want to by 128Gb total.
Could someone point me in the direction to see the available upgrades?

Hi:
Chapter 1 of the service manual on your notebook's user guides page has the memory upgrade info and the NVMe SSD drive capacities HP offered in the model series.
OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0000 (343L4AV) Manuals | HP® Customer Support
Chapter 5, page 34 of the manual indicates that there is support for two M.2 NVMe SSD's.
Since HP only offered drives up to 1 TB in the model series, there is no information on larger capacity NVMe drive info.
The Crucial memory/SSD report for the model series indicate they offer 4 TB NVMe SSD's.
HP - Compaq HP OMEN 16-C0000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com
Whether or not that info is 100% reliable, that I do not know.
