You can use up to 4 TB M.2 PCIe, NVMe SSD as a replacement for the originally installed SSD.

You can also use the 2.5 inch format SATA-3 SSD products as a direct replacement (with an 9.5mm adapter) if your laptop was delivered with an actual legacy HDD.

Your laptop's Maintenance & Service guide for storage device reference in chapter 2, page 1.

Crucial Memory's guaranteed compatible memory and storage device products. They are also sold in Asia.

Want to use the old one and add m.2 as well? I don't want to delete the old stuff because there's a lot of data.

You can use both, but there is a method you must follow to make sure the new M.2 is seen as the boot device.

If you upgrade to an M.2 as the boot device, remove the old one (legacy disk?) on the first time you boot.

That way the OS will place the boot flag on the new M.2 SSD. That is what you want.

You can replace the original disk after the first boot and use it as a storage/Data disk.
