Hi there

 

Please can anybody tell me whether I can install :

 

Crucial P1 CT1000P1SSD8 1 TB Solid State Drive (3D NAND, NVMe, PCIe, M.2)

 

...into my laptop?

Yes the laptop supports HDD + PCIe/NVME M.2 SSD.

 

Service Manual

 

see p. 4 and then pp. 40-44 for instructions to remove the back cover.

 

You see this:

 

M.2 circled in redM.2 circled in red

You need to open the back FIRST and be double sure there is a slot where shown above before you buy anything. You have the latest greatest hardware there so the newer NVME M.2 disks like the Samsung 870 Evo are supported. I have one in my own laptop and its insanely fast.

The Crucial M.2 disk you ask about should also work although I have no specific experience with it.
