Hello, 
Actually i was thinking to upgrade my device's m.2 nvme ssd to 1 TB. but i don't know which generation it can support. Can any one help me regarding this?
Laptop: HP pavilion 15 - ec1023ax.

According to your service manual (on page 2), your model supports NVMe gen 3x4 SSDs.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

 

NVMe gen 4 SSDs will work but will run at gen 3 read/write speeds.
