Product: HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p157sa (ENERGY STAR)

Hi,

 

I have a 15-P157SA. 

I want to upgrade the mother board to have 4 cores. Can you kindly confirm / advise what part number I need please? 


I would also like to upgrade the RAM, once I have a new motherboard - for the new part number for the motherboard, what RAM part number do I need and what is the max RAM I can use with the new motherboard?

 

Lastly, I’d like to also upgrade the hard drive to be a SSD. What part number do I need for this?

Unfortunately, there are no compatible system boards  for your laptop with Intel Core i5 or i7 (4th Gen) processors that have four cores.

 

You can upgrade to a boot SSD - 2.5-inch internal SSD • NAND SATA 6.0Gb/s 

Any brand will do, up to 2TB max is supported.

 

The maximum installed memory is 16 GB
