Hi,

 

I've had this laptop for about 2-3 years now. I've upgraded the ram from 4gb to 8gb, and I was wondering if I could upgrade the processor in my laptop as well. My laptop (HP Noteboook 15-af161ca) uses an AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics, 2.00GHz. If upgrading the processor is possible, can anyone link a recommended processor and/or send a video tutorial detailing how to replace the processor? Thanks a ton.

Hi:

 

In order to upgrade the processor in your notebook, you would have to replace the motherboard with one listed in the service manual for your notebook's model series that may come with a better processor.

 

This would be a very expensive project to undertake.
