Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone could help me try to find a better processor for this PC ( HP Envy x360 15m-bp0xx).
I have made a hard drive upgrade to this computer before, changing from the stock HDD to Samsung's 860 EVO 1TB Internal SATA SSD. What are my options? I use this computer mainly for homework as I am a college student but I'd like to be able to play some games that won't lag and can still handle decent framerates. I have installed Fortnite in the past but it did lag a bit and the quality was pretty bad (this was before my SDD upgrade and I'm not sure if it will change that much.) Also if anyone knows of a quieter fan that would also be nice lol.
P.S. I don't know a ton about computer repair and upgrades but I have some very basic understandings of it. I usually have a friend who is much more knowledgeable install the parts I bought.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to upgrade the processor on the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I would like to inform you that HP doesn’t recommend upgrading the processor on the computer. Having said that, in case if you wish to upgrade the processor then you might also need to upgrade the motherboard.
The motherboards are custom made for laptops so that they fit the chassis designed.
Below is the service guide for your computer. Refer to page 19 for the available upgrade options.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
