Good evenning I wish to know the following:
I have motherboard
hp 17fa 10.5a- I searched the model and I am almost sure about the prodcut name as it seems to be the same it's
Intel 5 2 - with ati and intel 3000 Graphics and I bought this laptop like almost 10 years already.
I wanted to know:
how much of RAM can I update it - I want to produce music, and cubase 10 pro worked very good with the in-built 8 RAM -but I thought of upgrading -so I wanted TO know what is the RAM capacity for this motherboard -hp 17fa 10.5a-??
-and the same question to the processor: what's the highest processor I can upgrade? in the I series?
-FINALLY: if I am working right know (Unfortunately) with 19.5V ------ 3.33 AMP 65W -and the computer describe for 18.5V ----6.5 Amp 120W - and I see it going like laggy it's because of that?

This is the Service Manual:
The processor can be upgraded as far as i7-2620M (has to be dual core not quad) and max memory is 16 gb DDR3-1333 1.5 volt SO-DIMM (a pair of eight gig modules). Yes you have a dedicated video card so your laptop really needs a 120W adapter for optimal performance.
120-W PFC RC V HP Smart AC adapter 609941-001
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Good evenning,
dear Huffer thank you so much for this valuable information!, yes in these next days I will hopefully buy an HP with the required,
I apologize if the following questions may sound basic:
About the processor If I have the 16 Gb already (DDR3-1333 1.5 volt SO-DIMM (a pair of eight gig modules) it will make a change to update to I7-2620M when we refer to performance? -
I have now that I remember quad-core as I remember to entered to MSCONFIg and saw there 4 cores, still only dual isn't?
Regards

Yes a dual core will show 4 virtual processors and a Quad Core shows 8 like this:
I think the processor upgrade would not make enough difference to be worthwhile. Please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
