Hello everyone!
I've read several requests from people wanting to upgrade the RAM in their laptops, which come standard with 16GB. The HP website lists the maximum RAM as 16GB, but doesn't specify anything else. I've read several posts about this, asking if it's possible, and others saying it's theoretically possible, but no one has confirmed it.

I purchased two 16GB RAM modules for the 15-fd00xx series laptop, specifically the 15-fd0085nl.

My model (15-fd0085nl) has an HP 8BB6 61.42 motherboard, and I'm happy to confirm that it supports 32GB perfectly.

I purchased the Crucial CT16G4SFRA32A 16GB DDR4 3200MHz.

Initially, when I removed and reinstalled the two modules, they didn't work. So I had to install just one 16GB module. I started the PC and it booted up. Then I installed the second module, and it read it. So, I recommend installing them one at a time so it can read them. When I installed two modules at the same time, the laptop wouldn't boot, resulting in a black screen. When I installed just one module, I got a message saying it was resetting the BIOS, so after reading the 16GB one, I installed the second 16GB one, and now they work fine with 32GB. I also ran some tests on the memory in the HP BIOS, and everything works fine; the system recognized them without any problems.

I hope everyone enjoyed this!
