Hi!
Help me Please.
I just bought a HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2015ci with 8GB RAM (It has 2 4GB slots), the system board is 89F6 42.11, BIOS F.14.
I wanted to know if it is possible to upgrade the RAM to 32 in the future, I can't find anything about it in the specifications and in the guide. thank you very much

Hi,
The notebook supports max 64GB of DDR4 3200 MHz RAM
Even is service manual mentions 16GB
On page 38 of service manual you can see the the steps to upgrade RAM

I guess the RAM could not be compatible.
when you remove and place old RAM everything works?
what is the model of the RAM?
You can also see the amount of RAM the motherboard supports (explained by @Paul_Tikkanen in his posts 😀 )
type cmd in search and open as administrator
type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx
divide the number by 1048576 to get the solution in GB
Hope it helps,
David
