Hello community, again I am asking for your valuable support. I want to upgrade to its maximum RAM and SSD to my HP Pavilion 15-p010la laptop, it is going to be used for school work.
Do you know how much is the maximum RAM I can use in that laptop, and also can I put a 1TB SSD ?
Can you recommend me some options?
Thank you very much.

Hi:
Your notebook has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.
You can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
Below is the link to the service manual:
Chapter 1 indicates the max memory is 12 GB but that is incorrect.
Suggested memory:
Suggested 1 TB SSD: (560 MBPS Read/520 MBPS Write)
Western Digital HDSSD 2.5" 1TB WD Blue™ SA510 PC 3D SSD 7mm : Amazon.com.mx: Electrónicos
or this one: (550 MBPS Read/490 MBPS Write)
You can install an 8 GB memory chip in both slots.

Hi José, I have the same model and I can confirm that this upgrade is possible. I installed:
16 GB DDR3L RAM (2×8 GB, fully compatible with the chipset)
1 TB Crucial BX500 SSD, 2.5" SATA format — no compatibility issues
I also did a clean installation of Windows 10 from a USB drive to ensure optimal performance. The laptop now boots in just 15 seconds, and runs much smoother for schoolwork and everyday tasks.
If you’d like a step-by-step guide or brand recommendations, I’d be happy to share what worked for me.
