Hi,
I want to upgrade my HP laptop model 15 R007tu with 8gb RAM and 256 gb SSD. I bought this laptop in Oct 2014 in India.
I want to know whether this laptop can be upgraded with 8gb RAM(currently it has 4GB RAM) and hdd with 256 GB SSD.
If yes, which companies RAM and SSD is suitable for this laptop.

Yes you can in both fronts.

Manual: Page 2, 59-60, 76

RAM: 2 slots, Max upto 16gb (two 8gb sticks)
Get another 4gb of exact same configuration, speed, voltage (1.35V) as given in manual and matching the already present one. Refer pages I listed in the manual.
Samsung, Hynix, Crucial are good brands.
SSD: can upgrade to 2.5 inch 7mm thick SATA SSD.
Samsung is a very good brand.
Both the upgrades are requiring major disassembly of laptop. Get help from good technician.
Create recovery USB and keep it safely before any upgrade.
