Hello everyone
I have my HP 14-ac006nl notebook which has gotten slower and slower.
The original configuration was with Windows 8.1 (64 bits), upgrading it to Windows 10 the 32 GB eMMC space is almost exhausted and little 2 GB DDR3L-1333 SDRAM ram.
Doing an online search, opinions differ on the possibility of upgrading the ram and replacing the eMMc with an SSD.
On the Crucial site they say they suggest compatible ram and ssd
https://it.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-14-ac006nl
While on the Kingston website they suggest at most expansion with a 128.00 GB SDXC card.
Before opening the notebook I wanted to ask all of you if anyone has already done this.
Looking forward to your suggestions
Frank

Hi:
Unfortunately, there isn't any storage or memory upgrades you can do for your model notebook.
Below are the specs...
HP Notebook 14-ac006nl Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
According to the specs, it has 2 GB of DDR3L-1333 SDRAM (onboard) memory.
'Onboard' means the memory is not removable as it is an integral part of the motherboard.
The eMMC drive is removable, but there are no options for a larger capacity eMMC drive, such as 64 or 128 GB.
Below is the link to the service manual.
The other drive ports on models with the eMMC drives are disabled so you can't replace the 32 GB eMMC drive with a standard 2.5" SATA SSD.
You could keep a SD card inserted in the slot to save your files on, but you can't run any programs from it or use the SD card for an operating system.
