Can I increase the ram from 8GB to 16GB?

Sorry No. The memory is soldered to the motherboard. They came with either 4gb or 8gb RAM See pp. 17 of the Manual here....amount of memory is a spec of the motherboard and no instructions for inserting memory modules.
