Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Upgrade RAM on x360-15-bk157cl laptop. How many slots are supported and what configuration,  Also, can I upgrade to a 1TB SSD Harddrive?  Currently have factory 500 MB SSD.

Hello @FionaJ1956,

 

The HP Pavilion x360 - 15-bk157cl accepts a max of  16GB of DDR3L-1600 (2 * 8GB). Replacement procedures begin here. (Should link you to page 55) 

 

Your computer currently has a 500GB SSHD. You can most definitely replace it with a SATA III SSD. Replacement procedures begin here. (Should link you to page 43)

 

RAM by Crucial. Recommend SSD is the Samsung 850 EVO. Part numbers listed in the Maintenance and Service Guide can be purchased through the HP Parts Store

 

Please note that any damage incurred through the normal usage or upgrade process of a user will most likely not be covered under HP's standard manufacturing warranty unless an additional ADP (Accidental Damage Protection) plan was purchased.
