Is it possible to upgrade this laptop model to 16GB RAM and if so what is a good option?

Yes, you can upgrade to 16GB (2 x 8GB). It has  8 GB DDR4-2133 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB) now you can upgrade using compatible RAM such as (will run at 2133MHz)
