Product: Pavilion dv6 1225ee
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to ask if it is possible to upgrade my lap dv6 model 1225ee from 2*2GB DDR2 6400s 800MHZ memory sticks to 2*4GB DDR2, the same spec., memory sticks. I am also using WIN 10 PRO 64 bit.

I can't see that laptop supports more than 4gb in total which look's very strange...

I would try anyway, worst case it still only shows 4gb, there's nothing you can break...

No need for thumbs up or other farcical deeds.

Hi,

Max RAM for your system is 8GB of  PC2-6400, 800-MHz, DDR2

 

So. Yes, you can upgrade to 8GB.
