Hello everyone, I want to ask. I have a HP 14-bs00x Laptop with core i3 -6006U. I want to upgrade RAM from 4 GB to 16 GB. It is written that the default RAM speed frequency is 2133 MHz. Is it safe if I replace it with a speed frequency of 2400 MHz or 2666 MHz?

As long as you install compatible memory, even with a higher frequency, it will automatically downclock to the default module frequency.

Do yourself a favor and install guaranteed compatible memory modules in an identical pair.

If you just add a module you are risking the frustration of the module not working.

So before upgrading, we have to know the previous RAM type to match it to the new RAM that we will install. Is it like that?

Unless the modules are identical in all respects they will not run in dual channel mode.

You can get the specifications of the module by using CPU-Z and clicking on the  SPD  and memory sections to se the brand, part number,  VDimm and primary timings.
