i have 16 gb ram but my laptop is starting to get a bit slow sometimes can i upgrade it to 32 gb? i have the hp envy x360 convertible 15-ds0760nd

It has 16GB (2 x 8GB) now. You can upgrade to 32GB (2 x 16GB) using compatible RAM such as

All three should work. But your specs say 2400mhz so you can start with 2400mhz. My Elitebook 830 G5 specs state 2400mhz but it works fine with 2666 mhz sticks.


There is a chance that you may put even 64 gb. Probably in 2019 when ryzen 3700u has been released 32 gb SO-DIMM sticks weren't available.

 

Also, please, define "slow" and your use scenarios. As for RAM it's hard to imagine what can take 16 gb or RAM only if you're not media-creator or developer
