Good mornig

I've an HP 15-ay031nl, [serial number removed per Rules Of Participation] product number:X7H24EA with 4GB  ram.

I'd like to know how many slot my notebook has, how many ram I can add, and which kind of memory is used.

Hi,

Your PC supports 16GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM (2x8GB)

You can choose RAM from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung ... There are two slots.

On page 56 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM:
