Hi, is it possible to increase the internal storage of my 250 G7 laptop? It currently has a 228 gB SSD installed. Can this either be upgraded, or a second SSD installed to run in parallel? I could do with 1 tB if feasible. Thank you.

Have a look at the maintenance and service guide. This model supports both a PCIe SSD card and has room for a 2.5" form factor drive either SSD or spinning platter. The guide will show you what you need to install because if you currently have the PCIe drive you will need a cable and adapter to install the second drive.

HP 250 G7 is a series of many models/products with many different options/configurations. It does not make any sense when you say very strange thing : it has 228 gB SSD.
Please let us know what is its CPU/Processor and what is its storage now M.2 SSD or 2.5" SSD ?
Regards.
