Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Dear friends.

I just bought a new HP Spectre x360 laptop, am I allowed to update the ssd to another one? Will it break the warranty? If no, how can I install OS (Windoews 11) on my new SSD? (Clone or image current one which is installed on the laptop? how to do that?) Thanks.

What is your 14-ea1000 machine ?  For example

 

                HP Spectre x360 Convertible 14-ea1023dx

 

Warranty is a grey/gray area very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something or fixing something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts . You can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.


Hope this makes sense.
