Hi there - looking to upgrade my internal SSD (Toshiba KBG30ZMV512GB) to a larger Samsung 2TB (or higher) but unsure which ones are compatible? Is it possible to let me know?
Thanks!

Hi:
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in the model series.

While I can't think of any reason why a 2 TB NVMe SSD wouldn't work, neither I nor anyone else can guarantee that a 2 TB SSD will work.
Samsung only offers the 980 Pro in a 2 TB storage capacity, and since that is PCIe Gen 4, you will be paying extra money for performance your notebook won't achieve, since the M.2 slot is only PCIe Gen 3.
The Samsung 980 PCIe 3.0 SSD is only offered in drive capacities up to 1 TB.
